Koscieliska Valley

One of the most known and beautiful valleys in the West Tatras, 8 km long. One can get here from Krupówki down Koscieliska St. towards Chocholów. Through the valley leads the green trail to Ornak (1867m) and Ciemniak (2096 m).

In the upper part of the valley, on the Little Ornaczanska Glade, there is the lodge “Ornak” (1110m) and nearby, (at the black trail) there is the Smreczynski Pond (1226m). In the Koscieliska Valley there are some caves – those hidden and dangerous, as well as those possible to visit, like: Mylna Cave, Smocza Jama, Raptawicka Cave and the famous Mro¼na Cave (lit at night). There are several small valleys coming from Koscieliska Valley with Kraków Ravine and Mietusia Valley being the most beautiful.
